Double Bounce Rule

  1. The Serve: When the ball is served, it must bounce once on the receiver's side before they return it.
  2. The Return: After the receiver returns the serve, it must bounce once on the serving team’s side before they can hit it.

Only after these two bounces (one on each side) can players start volleying the ball (hitting it in the air without letting it bounce).

This rule ensures longer rallies and prevents players from rushing to the net too quickly.
